Note Taking 101

Note-taking 101 is a two-hour course for consecutive interpreters who want to improve their note-taking skills. Even though Note-taking 101 teaches basic skills, all interpreters can benefit from innovative note-taking strategies. In this course, students will learn how to create and memorize their notes. Students will also learn how to incorporate note-taking in their interpreting practice. Note-taking 101 is a language-neutral class taught in English, and it can be beneficial for consecutive interpreters who work in any field. This course is approved for 0.2 IMIA/NBCMI CEUs.
